BIOGRAPHY

Professional flutist and composer, Marie Saintonge is an artist that has a realm of her own – So much in fact that one could say that she owns her world.

Strenghtened by studies and numerous travels that brought her on a unique musical journey throught the world, the artist signs her second album, Hawazone, which was produced by guitarist and accomplice Stefano Pando. THe effort is well thought out, and are already gaining recognition from the pairs and specialists of the world genre, and makes a major statement towards the idea that Quebec generates a flow of strong talents, and artists that produce exceptionnal music by autonomous means.

The artist’s MySpace and website contains all the informations her world, and the album will very soon be doubled with a show that’s currently in production, that should hit the scenes as soon as late spring 2010, which will go along great with the rotation already in the air, notably on CBC Radio
