SÉBASTIEN HÉNAULT BLANCHARD
PRESIDENT, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Musician since the age of 12, Sebastien has been riding the wave of a musical career that took him to 4 continents, playing hundreds of venues and events and recordings over the years. Recipient of a Bachelor’s degree as well as a Post Graduate certificate in jazz performance from University of Sherbrooke, the young man has cumulated a vast knowledge and work experience within the musical industry, doubled with an acute sense of affairs that has followed him since his teens, and which ultimately culminated in the co-foundation of Dacapo.mu
JULIEN FORTIN
LICENSES DIRECTOR, ASSOCIATE
Julien is a sound engineer and co-owner of studio SEM1492, located in Bromont. Through his professional experience, he followed an interest about the protection of the works he was contributing to. After a formal training in the field of music publishing, he co-founded Dacapo.mu, where his primary role is the artist management and relations, as well as emitting licenses and contracts. He also accompanies artists in their career’s evolution, and takes prides in entertaining a priviledged relationship with all of them.
PATRICE BEAUDETTE
ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR
Having worked as a documentation professional for the past 20 years, Patrice has also worked within the industry as a disc jockey, radio show host, and music producer. His documentation skills allow him to manage our internal catalog with ease and efficiency. And because that with great power comes great responsibility, he makes the most of that administrative side to manage the entire bureaucratic aspect of the business.
BARBARA FINCK-BECCAFICO
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Barbara Finck-Beccafico is currently in charge of promotion, marketting and press relations at Dacapo.mu and SFZ Records. Very young, she left France to follow her studies in Marketing and International Businesspracticing alongside her love for singing and drama. Versatile, she is the autor of “Love under cellophane”, her first novel written at 18, and she has already achieved more than 80 live performances.
FRÉDÉRIC MALOUIN
NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND WEB PROMOTION DIRECTOR
Self-avowed geek, active gamer consistently in touch with the industry and self-taught electronic music producer, Frédéric combines ten years as a musician and two years as a senior employee in quality assurance at Babel Games Services. He also studied Communications at Cégep Marie-Victorin and at l’UQÀM.
